Typhoon Xangsane, Hoi An, Central Vietnam
01.10.06: 3.30am Hoi An took a direct hit from the worst typhoon in living memory: power lines down, airport closed, minor floods & roof damage. Quang Nam actioned a rapid response: power returned the next day!
