When we were taught about the war in Vietnam, they often left out the story of Pol Pot, a revolutionary who is responsible for a horrid genocide in Cambodia between 1975-1979. When you go to Phnom Pehn, it's important to visit the Killing Fields Memorial, as Cambodia is still trying to rebuild & preserve their culture since those dark times.
